From creating and editing short films at an early age while simultaneously writing and illustrating my own books and screenplays (and selling them for a small fee at family gatherings), I have been fascinated with the entertainment industry from the start. I became fixed to the screen, wondering how and why certain films were shot and developing an interest in a variety of films. In high school I furthered this curiosity through studying creative writing, media and learning video editing and Photoshop. I also dabbled in theater, design and illustration classes to feed my appreciation of art.
I graduated early from Ohio University in the Scripps School of Communication as a video production major with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications and currently live in Los Angeles. While at school I wrote and directed short films, assistant directed for an advanced film course, script supervised, acted in various projects and illustrated for the student-run award-winning animated television show, "Camelittle". In 2011 I was chosen to take a film course in Los Angeles sponsored by the School of Media Arts & Studies, furthering my connections in the field.
I was previously employed by CBS Television Studios as a Page where I attended live tapings of shows and acted as a liason between CBS and the audience. Additionally I was a Photo/Video Operator for the Warner Bros. Hollywood Studio Tour where I directed guests on green screen exhibits. Previously I held an internship position at Chiodo Brothers Animation Studios, where I assisted with puppet fabrication, concept illustration and sculpted projects in the stop motion animation field.
I currently work as an Executive Assistant for the Disney Channel Engagement Marketing Department.
